John, > it's hard to put a finger on the break in the logic. It's easy. Free will and the capacity to choose between right or wrong is the cornerstone of any moral value system. Our whole society is built upon that. Without free will, why bother to teach morals? If destructive behavior was pre-determined by factors outside of our control (because we have no free will to control anything), then it's futile to try and correct said behavior. Tenchusatsu
