That is what the GOP (unanimously) predicted would happen with Clinton. (Gingrich even held up the annual budget over it, forcing Gore to cast a tie-breaking vote in the Senate, remember?) And yet, contrary to all GOP predictions, that is the only administration since 1979 to pay down national debt and finally come close to a balanced budget in the final year, after steady, incremental gains each year since the changes were approved.) You big deficit-spender supporters are all snake oil salesmen. PS... when 'ya gonna come on board with the Balanced Budget amendment, Bill? Oh, that's right: NEVER! Might put your big spending plans in danger!)
