Chance,

I'm interested in selling them but will wait and see how accepted they are in the market.

Thanks for the comments.

Michael

Interesting option trade with RIG.

The Aug 10 weekly option for RIG

For instance, you can sell the weekly RIG $45 put for $1.23.

If put next week, you've got RIG for $43.77 or collect a nice 7 day premium.

Wonder if selling these on Thur/Fri and covering Monday is worth the effort (collecting the weekend premium)?

Something to watch.

OK guys - I fell for the weekly option trade. I did some GE 16 short put contracts for next Friday. I only did 20 contracts as I like to dip my toe before I swim. This has the potential to pay $.15 or approximately 1% for a week. If it goes bad - hey - I will own 2000 more shares of GE. I wonder how the roll of one week options works? Has anyone here done this game yet?

Last week at the Rama Casino - this week at the Weekly Option Casino. Frankly, if the stock is something one does not mind owning near the current price I see this as an ok risk.
