I think there is a misunderstanding here.

Continuous versus pulsed refers to whether the laser is emitting DUV radiation as a continuous wave train or is emitting a rapid series of pulses.

Example: A garden hose emits water continuously whereas a machine gun is pulsed.

How many hours per day and how many days per week the laser is used is a completely different issue.

The NdYAG laser used for cutting sheet metal where I work is used continuously 16+ hours per day for five days per week. But it runs in pulsed mode rather than coninuous mode.
