In all modesty, I claim credit for getting Albert booted.
He posted a clearly obscene post to me and shortly thereafter
both the post and Albert were gone. I did not complain in any
way and was as suprised as everyone else when he was booted.

In all honesty, I don't think he should have been banished.
His post was out of line, but I can live with that. I would welcome
him back, with a simple apology of course <gggg>.

Kevin, re <Hopefully SI will see fit to reinstate him, as his contributions are missed.> The SI is a well-being company, with $1M in revenue for 3 employees. They apparently do not feel the need in increasing the quality of service to attract more members ($125 membership). Your hope is hopeless.

Well, he's been booted off before so it's probably going to be more difficult the second time around. Regardless of the number and frequency of complaints, they will be prompty ignored if they don't have any merit. That prevents these gang-complaint efforts from censoring selected targets and SI is more than a little familiar with those tactics. Now, if somebody were peppering a thread with a continual spew of short, response-for-response-sake snippets, month after month, they might find themselves on the business end of a warning; failing that, a cooling off period; failing that, a log off, over and out.

Are you sure albert kovalyov is removed by SI? Why SI did that? I thought he stopped posting because of no more holdings on AMD.

Here is his last post: exchange2000.com

I miss albert too, although I don't have any AMD shares.

Kevin - Re: "I wonder who those people were who complained?"

Ask the Webmistress - she ought to know. In fact, she may have been the one to give ALbert the boot for using the "objectionable or offensive" language that you remembered.

The SI folks probably screen these posts automatically with Search Procedures to flag that sort of language.

Yes - it would be good to have Albert back and hear his spin on AMD's latest yield problems. I'm sure he'd have something to say to the effect that "AMD has so much more potential than Intel". That was his line for the past 18 months or so.
