Optimizing transaction profiles is a no-brainer of a perquisite prior diving into the physics of propagation, although iterative tuning could become necessary until a fully optimized effect is produced. I appreciate your delving into some of the finer nuances of these latency-sensitive applications, although I'm wondering if you ever noticed my #msg-26722943. I'm eager to read your response to same.

To clarify, I didn't intend to suggest that the process of transaction profile optimization, itself, was a no brainer, only the fact that it had to be done was, fwiw.
