What gives anybody the idea that Chelsea Clinton is the least bit qualified/interested/smart/wise/thick-skinned enough to be president?

We don't have any such idea. That's part of the point. Other than the fact that she's a Clinton, and she's homely, what do we know about her?

She's young. Give her 20 years, maybe we'll find Chelsea has grown to our liking after living her own life for awhile. Who knows.

We see a lot of dynastic attitudes in our politics these days. Case in point, the habit of putting spouses in dead Congress critters' seats. Horrible.

Hey, if Barack Obama could convince people he was up to doing the job, anybody can do the same.
