I don't know. They seem just as willing to try and "stimulate" the economy as the Democrats are.

Some are.

This concept that you can "stimulate" an economy with government spending of borrowed money is, to me, insane. I am not aware of any time in history in which it has actually worked.

And in fact, the Obama stimulus has failed miserably, as did the other big one (FDR). How long will it be before the entire concept is disproven?

If you ask liberals, "Where is the evidence that fiscal stimulus works?" the automatic response is "FDR". But it didn't work - a much stronger case can be made that FDR's actions actually PROLONGED the depression, yet the Left will consistently point to FDR as an example of fiscal stimulus working.

And it is disgusting to me when "conservatives" do support the use of stimulus. I've seen it time and time again -- offhand remarks about "needing" stimulus. We don't need it. It only makes matters worse. And now, our economy is still croaking and we're a trillion dollars deeper in debt.
