5.Thanks to the Tea Party, the Nevada GOP has probably pissed away a historic chance to out=st Harry Reid. See also Charlie Crist in Florida, Rand Paul in Kentucky, and so on. Rand Paul? He is the Tea Party's candidate in Ky. This guy obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. He's also the GOP's candidate.

Ford says US July sales edge higher 4 minutes ago (AP:DETROIT) Ford Motor Co. says its U.S. sales rose 3 percent in July compared with the same month last year as its new Fiesta subcompact hit the market. Ford brand sales rose 8 percent. But they were dragged down by a 31 percent drop in Mercury sales. Ford announced in June that it will end production of Mercury at the end of this year. Lincoln sales slid 16 percent, largely because of a drop in sales of the Town Car sedan. Ford plans to stop producing the Town Car next year. Overall, the automaker's sales were flat from June, which was a disappointing month for the industry but was relatively strong for Ford. news.ino.com
