Most religion I've encountered in my life is not extreme and does not involve Bible-beating fanatics -- rather, simply people who are living the lives in the ways they believe are good and decent. I'm not sure why the Left is so intolerant, but you are. Another board I post on sometimes is comprised almost entirely of young leftwing nutjobs, and they are totally hate-filled where religion is concerned. Oh, except if it is Islam. Then, religious extremism is just fine.
