I am also new to this stock and this thread. I guess the nature of these penny stocks should be somewhat predictable by now. On the Prodigy "Wall Street Edge" feature on Friday am Vista Gold was touted by The Yamamoto Forecast. To briefly quote a portion of this review: "we belive VGZ is on the bargain counter. On a technical basis, it's oversold.

I guess if it was on the bargain counter at .4375 it is an amazing buy at .25 or less now. It seems to me that in the majority of cases when there is praise for a penny stock or it becomes highly touted you can be sure it will drop drastically by days end. MM's???

If I sound cynical, well........

Just need to vent ! I feel much better......

From the earnings report.

"Subsequently, the Company arranged hedging for approximately 85 percent of the production for 1998 and 1999 at an average minimum price of $340 per ounce."

This is why I lost a chunk of money Fri. Put this together with the write-down and I wouldn't be a buyer at these prices. Find a producer that is not as hedged. I wouldn' t put your money here.

Good luck.
