Americans.
Americans are intolerant of those who would make a mockery of those murdered on 9/11.

The people trying to promote something that will hurt the families of 911 victims.

There are plenty of places to worship for Muslims in NYC .... this isn't a case of religious need. I think some folks want to stick their thumb in people's eye.

Ditto for the liberal establishment promoting the project.

That only seems fair.

What’s that? It’s against their religion? But that’s not supposed to matter. We should respect their culture? But I thought it was wrong not to let gay people marry each other. Why should we be tolerant of their intolerance?

But seriously, folks. I don’t really care if gay folks marry each other, and I think there are some good arguments for it. However, “I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT!!!” is not one of those arguments. And what’s the point of having ballot propositions if you don’t abide by the results? Do you really want to tell people, “Your vote counts, unless you don’t vote the way some judge wants you to”? Maybe you do, I dunno.
