Ted, there have been many instances where the teams of "underserved" cities have won championships. San Antonio, TX is one of them. So is Kansas City. And would Green Bay, WI even be on the map without their NFL team?

As I understand it, the NFL has income limits. Not true for the MLB and the NBA. That's why we always seem to have a Series between the Red Sox and the Yankees.

Of course, the conspiracy theory is that the officials and the administrators tilt the playing field toward the bigger markets like Los Angeles, New York, and Boston. That way, they get the most viewship on TV and therefore the most ad revenue.


Its not a conspiracy theory. The bigger markets make more revenue money from tv.
