Was it WORTH it? REALLY? Of course not. Invading Iraq is widely recognized worldwide as a blunder of leadership right up there with Hitler deciding to take on Russia as well as the Allies. At least OTHER presidents that have lied us into wars set up plausible scenarios where (it seemed) we were actually attacked. Bush couldn't even manage that, and had to conflate 9/11 with Iraq and depend on the stupidity of his supporters. That stench just doesn't leave, Dave.
