Lorne I was attempting to use the comparison to illustrate how insulting to Americans for the Mosque to be built here and also insulting to the Japanese to send someone from America on the Anniversary of the bombing. There certainly must be another date that we could choose to send a delegation to Japan. Like you I cannot comment on the current status of Japan as regards Mosques/Muslims. I have a few friends who are of Japanese ancestry who are very special. I have even discussed the bombing with them------what I have learned is that as time passes healing has happened. mj
