My wife's step mom is in the hospital right now because of those psychotic drugs. She is a semi-invalid and doesn't have much time left so she is naturally depressed. The docs answer:

"Well, we can't have her depressed that her life is ending!"

So they have been pumping her full of one psychotic drug after another. She is no longer depressed. Then again, she doesn't recognize anyone, even her own kids, is paranoid to the extent she has been crawling into the bathroom in the hospital and barricading herself inside, etc., believing that everyone in the hospital, including her own family, is out to kill her.

Nothing like quality of life. Now there is a battle between the doctors(each claiming their mind altering drug is better than the other doc's) and she is suffering worse now than when she was just depressed about dying. The kids are trying to get the docs to end the psycho drugs but the docs say in her state to stop the drugs will kill her.

Good thing the US has the best medical care in the world. -ng-

The kicker is the State is paying the entire bill.
