Dear PeterR1700, Sorry for the "silent" treatment. I guess the good news is that I have been extremely busy over the past several months. There is much to cheer at EarthLink these days. I was fortunate to have been interviewed by Bloomberg's and there is now a video that is accessible to Bloomberg's customers. The only significant thing that I announced during this interview is that we had over 380K customers at the end of October and put EarthLink on track to assimilate the 60K new customers that I projected during the Q3 conference call with analysts. During Q3, EarthLink announced a new program for universities called ELITE. We have seen the fruits of that effort during the first part of Q4 as we provisioned over 2800 accounts at Floyd College in Rome, GA in October and by the end of November would have provisioned over 5000 accounts for Clayton College in South Atlanta. Additionally, we have signed a multi-year agreement with UCLA for internet services valued at over $1.5M per year. EarthLink recently finished repricing and repostioning all of our web hosting products and have introduced a new entry level price for our web sites at $19.95 if they also have a dial up account with us, $29.95 if they do not. On the marketing and PR front much is happening. EarthLink was on the cover of one of the latest Inter@ctive Week issues. We were also the feature article in the latest issue of Co. Magazine. EarthLink had a brief story in Wall Street Journal Interactive and will have short stories in both Fortune and Business Week over the short term. We have a "neat" affinity marketing deal launching this fall with Tom Clancy. He has a new paper back book, "Politika", which will include a mini CD in the back of this book that includes a copy of Total Access. It also includes a two page ad highlighting EarthLink's service. The first run of this will be 1.8M copies. We have launched a new service at EarthLink called the Personal Start Page 2.0, which incorporates CNET's new technology called SNAP Online. This service provides each user the ability to customize the page to reflect what they do on the service daily. This will truly become the "starting point" for each user's internet activities. Also, this month we will ship Total Access 2.0 which includes multimeida tutorials on getting connected to the Internet. With this new software, EarthLink has raised the bar on "ease of use" and getting someone connected to the Internet. Finally, we have launched The Mall, a online mall, for our members. This will be one important way that EarthLink will drive incremental revenue per month on top of our basic access service. This is very similar to what AOL has done over the past six months. As you know, we closed a private placement for $15.6M in Q3. Additionally, during Q3 two investment banks initiated coverage on EarthLink; Robinson Humphrey and Cruttenden Roth. I fully expect that two additional banks will initiate coverage over the short term. This clearly reflects a growing interest in our company and in this sector in general. Enough for now ... cgb
