Dan,

The problem with your hooker analogy is that there is nothing wrong with stock options themselves, it only becomes an issue when the directors go far beyond the norm.

Options in a reasonable amount and at a fair price are to be expected because they are usually taken in lieu of a substantial salary and any director who helps make a company a winner should receive ample compensation. That is why I have never complained about the issue with any of my other stocks. However, Stephen Doppler and friends have come in, reduced the stock price to half of what it was before they started and they have rewarded themselves for their efforts by grabbing a huge percentage of this company that should have taken several years to acquire.

The final twist that really should make us all sick is that at least one of them has been keeping the price down by selling. Then they all benefit from this destruction of the company by getting their options and private placements at ridiculously low prices.

Something is seriously wrong with the management of this company and its time we shareholders stopped treating these guys with kid gloves. I'll make the first effort by writing to the B.C. Securities Commission this week and requesting they do an investigation of their practices. If Doppler's own conscience won't prevent him from exploiting his shareholders, perhaps the fear of regulatory authorities will.
