Well I did some test marketing

I put a advertisement for some $219 MediaGX computers in front of some Department heads and watched them fight for the zerox copies!!!!

Also perhaps you will notice that your comment about Intel customers holding inventory for shorter periods of time also affecting disk drive manufacturers etc. already happened. Look at Western Digital and Seagate earnings announcements!!!

As to the Cyrix 200Mhz appearing in the sub $1000 market. This is a sign of what's happening. Full powered and configured PC's for less than $1000. Try to understand the different business models and you won't confuse the difference between Intel's processors appearing in this market (excess investory) and Cyrix's (part of their business plan).
