Not only 'use' the drug, they "can't pry the drug out of their hands":

"Over 75% percent of the people in the two studies have elected to continue using (Amylins's) pramlintide. "I can't pry the drug out of their hands," says Davida Kruger, a nurse practitioner at Detroit's Henry Ford Health Systems. Besides taking less insulin, Evelyn Hawkins says she has lost weight and now can walk three miles several times a week."

Andy,

OFF topic:

Since the idiots at ABC decided to show the USC/Stanford game, I have to listening to the UM/PSU game on the radio.

17-0 favor of UM in 2nd half. If Mich can keep the PSU's offense/Ennis from scoring, the number #1 spot is theirs. No if, ands, or buts.
Game is still young. PSU can come back.

BTW, what happened to the LGND news?
