Yes, I remember that well. The difference, IMO, is in that case those idiots were just wrong. I don't mind holding long or short against the "wrong". This time it is an amazing rocket powered ramp on days when the news is at it's worst and a TA level is about to be breached.

Wrong idiots will be proven as such in time, but playing against a rocket-powered stacked deck might not turn out so well for even the informed investor.

I agree that fundamentals when they are bearish take a bit of time to impact the market. But, bullish fundamentals are instantly recognized as such and huge hundred point rallies result. So, fundamentals seem to me to be more a one-way street.
