You mean its larger than in the past?

Yes, it is. For more than 30 years, a smaller and smaller percentage of the population controls more and more of this country's wealth. Its been shown in study after study. Its an extremely dangerous trend. It means the importance of the middle class is diminshing in this country. And the middle class is what has made our democracy so successful campared to other countries in the world.
