He claimed he has never heard anyone in the South use 'prostrate' instead of 'prostate'. He is either lying or he doesn't talk to many people. It is one of the more common mistakes, about on the level of using 'jive' instead of 'jibe'.

I have heard it only from northerners. They don't be too bright up there sometimes.
