ALL:

Just saw an internal Notebook Zip drive. It was even more impressive
than I thought. The internal was situated in the front of the notebook. A red I on the left and red iomega with a white zip on the right. If you fold the notebook up the colored Iomega logo can still be seen. It was quite impressive. This will be a huge market for Iomega. The logo itself was even more predominant than Intel's Intel inside. I am starting to feel that Market Participants have not fully
factored in the Notebooks impact on future earnings, hence, making this stock extremely cheap.

Darrell, even heard of "commodity"? I believe IOM will remains a strong marketing company in portable peripheral storage sector. But by the 2001, the gross margin of portable device and media/accessary will decrease substantially as a result of competition. In 1997 a DVD codec chip can buy you a state of the art workstation and probably with a free laser printer, by 1999 it will probably cost less than a $100 per chip. DVD codec may not be a good comparison to Zip and Jazz drive but you can see how ASP of EIDE drive fall in past 3 years. I have no comment on IOM stock price because haven't look at their fundamental data but don't think it is a good time to buy.
