To an extent. It hasn't helped the Japanese. In fact, it has made their problems worse.

Nope. Look at bond yields. 10 year Treasuries are under 2.7%. Others are even lower. That isn't a debt trap. It is flirting with deflation, though.

Not the inflation the deficit hawks are pushing so hard. Again, just look at Japan.
