Larry,

You couldn't pry a share from my hand at these prices either.

I was wrong about the highest ask price of the various MMs for ASND. The highest closing ask price on Friday was by UBSS (UBS Securities). They would sell you ASND at 25 3/8.

The next highest ask was by Morgan Stanley. They would sell ASND at 25 1/8.

I count about four MMs with an ask of 25 (as many as were asking the low, 24 1/4).

Bear Stearns was asking 24 7/8 at the close, as were several others.

There were a bunch of MMs at 24 3/4.

Montgomery was at 24 11/16 and Cowen was at 24 1/2.

Few MMs (including Goldman Sachs) were at the low of 24 1/4.

Larry, I believe that announcement will be from AT&T WorldNet. The world#2 telco has chosen Ascend, what will the world#1 telco do?
