They might get nothing, but you know what, if they simply get less than what was promised, that is fraud, and people should go to jail for decreasing what people were promised no matter how sleight. If they say well, we can't "afford" to pay the benefits promised that is no answer because remember Bernie Madoff also couldn't "afford" to to pay out the full amounts he promised. Social Security has already defaulted once back in the 1980s and should have been closed down on the spot and people should have went to prison.
