Oh, with that glowing analysis of the company, VK, potential buyers will be lining up <big grin>

Don't forget that most of their customer base has competing products (NT) in their enterprise.

Forget it. Nobody is going to buy NOVL, and NOVL doesn't want to sell. If by some miracle an offer was made, it would be some sort of stock swap deal at market price. Translated, no premium.

I find Eric Schmidt infinitely preferable to his predecessor

As to your just finding out about the Morgan Stanley Index, this is old news, they dropped Novell about last December if my memory serves me (and it sometimes doesn't).
