The Danes just don't want their country to end up as a Danmarkistan. I guess that's legit. Legal immigrants are indeed allowed to have their wife from back home joining them provided that 1) They have been married for min. 3 years and 2) The wife is at least 24 years old. So nothing to complain about here. Those who don't meet these criteria and still want to join the Scandinavian welfare system - and they are many - thus settle in even more liberal Sweden in Malmo just over the bridge. I left Sweden a long time ago - and feel good about that. /Taro
