Mohan- On being ridiculous-
The natural by-product of a market is a long and not a short- short in itself as the name suggest is anti-thesis of long and hence reactive and not pre-emptive, to be long is normal reaction to be compulsively short in my opinion is a permanent state of mind where every thing looks slanted and crooked- IBM forward earnings are rejected as cosmetic fiscal exercise and other self owned darlings can be justified at any multiple- if you can justify a P/E for one company there is no reason not to accept contrary opinion which tries to justify P/E of a tech thru his own logic. To label counter opinion as' ridiculous' may be slightly too harsh a judgement. For me Techs has been my bread and butter and hopefully will remain so as time passes. I am a firm believer of 'global' interactivity spearheaded by techs.
