Fuchi, <cacheless Pentium II> I agree that without L2 the whole idea of the separate module makes no technical sense - there is nothing to place on this board but the CPU. In this case the Socket-8 in a plastic variant looks more economical. So, another wave of board redesigns? All are in hurry again designing half-baked boards and not making profits, etc. etc.? I do not think OEM are going to like this. Of course, if there will be no other variant, they would have no choice...
