We can feed the world with a tiny share of the economy. 5% of Brazil GDP is Agriculture.

US ag sector is also a tinypart of the GDP and I can recall Galbraith saying, the US was a Third World country since it exported a lot of agriculture.

The problem are the distortions artificially introduced in the system.

When Europe no longer afford the subsidies of the CAP, we will have further shocks in the system.
