Well said. I've disagreed with a number of your opinions over the years. The thing is we've drawn different conclusions while working from the same underlying evidence. In the end I felt your opinions were rational & well reasoned while still thinking my POV was the better one. Though we disagreed my respect for you grew. "They view the division as a negative trait of the party, while I view it positively" I don't see how that's bad at all. In fact, your differing POV has on occasion changed mine as I determined your POV was actually a better one. IMO it's actually healthy to have those kind of debates within your ideologically inclined peers. Even more so with those not so inclined. Bottom line. No one has all the answers. But we can get far better results if we can simply honestly & accurately discuss our POV on the issues. Al that other crap is counterproductive & in the end, costly.
