I'm a tax cuts guy. Rich or poor, we should all be assessed the lowest rate feasible.

As far as reporting income goes, I favor obeying the law that requires all income to be reported. I think we all do, except Democrat politicians.

You are required to report option trades whether or not you receive a 1099.

For that matter, you are required to report ALL income under IRC 61, "from whatever source derived" absent some specific exclusion.
