Of course you are....but if your trades are not reported how many profitable trades will be "forgotten"..... And you are not adverse to fudging a little bit on your taxes....

Your use of quotes around "forgotten" tell the story of liberals and income taxes. Most conservatives would never consider this kind of cheating on their taxes. They hate paying them, but do so dutifully.

Liberals, OTOH, insist on higher taxes, then cheat like hell.

As a CPA I hated doing returns for liberals, because it was always a challenge to keep them within the borders of appropriately aggressive tax treatments. At one point I had the unfortunate occasion to have a liberal CPA as a partner, and I had the same problem with him -- he couldn't discern the limits of aggressive tax treatment and I was constantly having to explain to him that professional ethics required limits on such treatments. I hated it.

I have no doubt you believe that if you can get away with it, it is acceptable.
