I understand shorting, just don't understand how the position would be closed out if a delisting took place. Does that mean if a stock gets delisted you can't have the proceeds from the sale......Or do you just owe shares in a company that no longer trades...

what do you stand to lose when you short scam......just the proceeds from the short sale.....not really any risk then...afterall you only sold what wasn't yours......would tend to piss me off, but if it didn't cost me anything, pretty easy to get over

Basically I am asking what would happen if I had say 1,000 shares of BRE-X that I never covered...figuring I sold them at an average of $18.00....I have the 18000 proceeds from the sale and the 9000 i put up to back the margin........What do i get to keep?

Speaking of scams, you claimed to be short, and claimed IPM is a scam. Yet you say << That is why it is so dangerous to short scam.>>
You also claim to give safe advise in a newsletter.
Can't claim all these things and be telling the truth. But then you sell properties that you "claim" have gold in them. You even offered to sell a platinum mine the other day. Still no engineering firms signing any reports proving anything you "claim"
Yep, its easy to smell a scam around here.
