Time management issue for me. Equities short term with interest in getting the most of a move in the least amount of time while limiting risk. Not executing when triggers hit becomes chasing, which is alright for most providing the longer term trend is in your favor. I chased the nets in the 90’s bouncing in and out and made a killing till they stopped going up. Once I lost 15% of my port chasing I came to the realization it didn’t always work. Rules change to fit the environment but that one rule is still in place and works well providing I keep the discipline.
