I don't anything about how suited WinChip or other particular x86 chips are at running Rhapsody. However, the WinChip is very well suited for NCs because it is optimized to run business applications rather than CAD or games. The kind of stuff most companies want running on their networked NCs is not the latest version of Martian Invaders or whatever the latest game title is.

If a significant market segment becomes more and more of a commodity market based on leaner systems than full blown PCs, then that will result in great opportunities for the C6. When the C6 moves to 0.25 micron IDT should be able to deliver >233 MHz versions for about $50 and still have better than normal margins compared to other products they currently sell. That should help to create compelling cost points for NCs, X86-WebTV boxes, and sub $800 PCs and sub $1,200 laptops. The laptops should operate better than most current laptops at half the price.
