2 GB Jaz

Sorry if this is old news . . .

I was in CompUsa today, and while there were no 2 GB Jazs on the shelf, I found an Iomega rebate coupon for them!!!

The coupon (actually not a coupon but an advertisement) says that the drive has an 8.7 MB sustained transfer rate.

Also, FYI, they had 8 ft. of vertical shelf space JUST FOR ZIP DISCS.

Plus, a complete end display.

Plus, 4 ft of vertical space for the zips (unfortunately, they only had the parallel in stock).

Syjet 1.5 GB was there for $349 (forgot if this was for the int or ext). Both internal and external were there.

Plus, they were selling the EZFlyer discs for $35 each.

Plus, there were plenty of Superdrives there (no one's buying them).

Plus, saw a Sony computer displayed with a zip drive built in.

There were no Zip Pluses in stock (they have yet to get any in).

They also had coupon advertisements for the 7 GB dittos.

Looking good!!!
