This is what boards of directors are supposed to do -- make sure shareholders get value. If they don't, the shareholders should fire them.

If you're a shareholder, you get to vote. If you aren't, why should you have ANY say, whatsoever -- in that instance, it is none of your business.

This is the way it works. If the BOD doesn't think a particular person is talented enough to warrant big money, why do they pay them big money?
