Say it ain't so, Leo!

>>Zebra, I covered a short positon (sic)<<

Leo, does your use of "a" rather than "my" indicate that you covered only part of your short position? Why didn't you stick with your plan of shorting VVUS down to the teens? Did you know about the 79 year old who died happy (evidently), or was that news to you as it was to me?

Leo, if you go long, who is there left to argue with?

If the story of the 79 year old who died with his hand on his gun is true, and Vinik and others indeed bailed because of inside knowledge of this, then VVUS is going to be a VERY interesting story short term and long term. If Viagra is approved for sale, there are bound to be many more deaths that my brethren at the bar will attribute to this systemic drug that will probably enjoy far more initial use than Muse because of the oral application method and Pfizer's marketing muscle.

Glad to see that the discourse on this thread has been very civil since I last looked on Friday, despite the stock hitting a recent low.
I would be interested to hear Papa Bear Tunica's take on the death anecdote, its impact on the stock prior to VVUS' apparent exoneration, the anecdote's on FDA review/approval of Viagra, and the likelihood of a plethora of death claims being raised against systemic Viagra if and when it is approved.

Where's Linda?

Personal note: My son became a man this weekend, but says he is not ready to move out.
