I prolly needed my birth cert to get my license. I don't know if I needed SSN. My bank asks me "What's yer SSN?". I make up some number, and they say thank you. If they asked me what my lic# was, they would settle for a different "some number". They don't what to see paper; they want to see numbers. They want the SSN so they can tell the people who gave me the SSN how much money they gave me. Cuz the people who gave me the SSN tells them to, under penalty of dismemberment of the bank pres.
