Vinod: >I'd like to request that the Dr. send his corporate jet to pick up all the Joe's, Eric's, BP's, Dave's and the rest of us for a chance to give it to him straight in the face. I hope he accepts this challenge...and I do not expect the Hummer vehicle to pick us up at the airport...that's his year end bonus for adding to the financial mess at NOVL.> You guys ought to take this "Novell Investor Therapy Club" national. The Hummer would be a great symbol for your woes - a vehicle with a quirky out of touch design that costs too much and serves a fading niche market. As for me, the negative bias has been so thick lately I sometimes wonder why any of the old gang continue to hang around here. Are you that convinced all Novell shareholders are salmon - swimming upstream, fighting against time, only to die in the end? Please, please.... If you really think Novell is toast this NOVL Investor Therapy Club could really turn out to be a great idea. You'd have a more formal forum. Start a newsletter. Organize a convention. This could be really BIG! Look at all the Sinclair, Comodore, CPM, fanatics. They are piddly-meat next to the Novellian world. Why you'd have a thousands of geeks and dozens of the true "hard-core" techno-Gods to come speak at future meetings: many have come and gone through Novell over the years - even Schmidt might pay you a visit. Lets be honest with ourselves. Perhaps more than 95% of Novell investors have been dead wrong over the past 3-5 years. Too many were simply too early. Legions of these players have been bailing over the past year. And legions more will bail by the end of December. I have waited, too, but not as long as most. I am patient and willing to see this thing through. I happen to think Novell will make it through this transition and will surprise investors with positive results. Let me know if any of you decide to form this "club" as I would be happy to contribute my 1 cent. Good Luck!
