We know that some of them preach one thing in English and something completely different in Arabic.

I doubt the imam in a New York mosque is going to be preaching (if that's what imams do?) in Arabic. He's going to be yapping away in English.

One problem with threads like this one is you get loads of posters talking about the "other side", in this case Muslims, and not a single Muslim giving their point of view. So this thread ends up with people posting that Muslims kill their daughters, Muslims want to take over the lindy hop dance bar in Waikiki, and Muslims are dedicated to violently overthrowing all other ways of life in order to put everyone in whole world under sharia law. If these things are true we should have at least a few Muslims posting "damn right we do!", and yet there are none.

That's why I think it would be interesting to ask any imam some of the things brought up on thread like these, and hear the response. Death for apostacy is an easy one - do they really advocate that, or even believe it? Who here believe that your average Muslim worldwide will kill someone who leaves the Muslim faith? I don't.
