Your statement looks like quite a TA/chartist call. I've never been a Technical Analysis or chartist person. Read too many studies that say it is BS and benefits if any, do not pay for the transaction costs. "A Random Walk Down Wall Street" is an excellent book on this topic. But, given evidence, I am open minded and willing to change me opinion. Does anyone here have a history of success with TA, over a time period that indicates more than just luck? Lee

Much bruised from an experience with COMS, I make my way to the INTC thread. I did something yesterday which almost invariably has been the wrong thing for me to do - I sold a looser for tax loss (COMS) and put the money into INTC. I put experience aside and made my move anyway because it seemed like a wise thing to do. Time will tell. Although I think COMS is dirt cheap right now for anyone with a 2 - 3 year time horizon I think the picture is less cloudy with Intel. As time goes on it seems to me that COMS is going to get squeezed between INTC and CSCO. And it seems to me that CSCO and INTC have the muscle to do some pretty good squeezing. So....now that I am here, can someone explain exactly what INTC's "software modems" are all about? Uncle Mikey
