we are already in depression have been for a few years.

the credit card has been used to hide the double digit annual falls in private GDP (real GDP), but the reality is still there and will need to be dealt with at some point.

I'm not saying shut it all down immediately. We'll need to wind it down slowly, to prevent depression as you said.

It's really shameful how dependent we've become on our bloated, useless military. Time to become just a nation among nations, end all these dumbass foreign wars, and mind our own business.

Do that, and we need only a small, defensive military and a few nukes.
