It should be noted that Dana Milbanks carried a very deep grudge against Olbermann for booting him off Countdown. More than a little payback in that item.

"MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, chairman and CEO of Professional Left, said that Obama had given in to the "professional right" and that "the White House has seemed more like the amateur left."

"Well, dougr on the Oil Drum sez the BOP is gonna fall and we're all gonna die". That's a pretty amateur story, Keith. Lake Simmons? Methane Monster? Nuke it or Die?

WH amateurs? MSNBC needs to stick their collective head in the toilet and flush it. They redefine amateur. I'm embarrassed. I turned them off. Keith is one his way to becoming Hannity with nicer ties. Schultz, bless his heart, is OK; he's just a dumb jock. His heart is in the right place...working class populist.

"Obama has only himself to blame for setting expectations impossibly high."

Not entirely. Nobody wanted to hear it when he said, many times, he was going to put more troops into Afg; back in the primary debates.
