We disagree on this since I see this as political rather than personal. It's a way to keep the pressure on the WH to keep their eyes on their left. Otherwise they drift too far toward other places. I can recite any number of policy issue but right now they are drifting on the Don't Ask Don't Tell by continuing to permit gays and lesbians to be dismissed from the military, even while the assumption is that the policy is being wound down.

Whether one calls that the left or what, that pressure needs to be there.

"Obama not being the flaming lefty"

He's not. He never was. He's center and a tad right. He will not be moved by the professional left. The professional left will not be moved by me.

So there we are, in a group photo, from left to right...

Rat, Professional Left, Obama.

If we could get rid of that malcontent in the middle, it would be a wonderful world. We might even get a climate bill passed.

Gibbs for Preside...oh, that won't work.
