"One of the worst things that ever happened to Americans was the breakup of the AT&T telephone monopoly."

So Roberts is arguing that breaking up a monopoly was bad?

This is simply unbelievable! Ma Bell and AT&T were not creative or aggressive in the way all the new comers were and are. There are more choices today and at more competitive rates with more services than would have happened otherwise.

Geesh!
