That was actually the case that I was referring to. Lars Hedegaard definitely tries to push the limits of freedom of speech, and he will probably not be sentenced in this case because he has clearly said that he did not mean what he said.

However, you have not denied that your posts represented your opinions, nor apologized. Therefore, you would probably get a sentence for racism if somebody sued you in Denmark. Unless you announce that your previous post was a mistake, of course.

I don't consider this Danish law to be a problem, because you can only get sentenced for it, if you promote generalizing negative information in public without withdrawing it again. However, some people who are not good at expressing themselves may cross the line sometimes, and that is the main reason why the law can be criticized.

We have seen how Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot and others work, and your post is a great example of it. We simply made that illegal.
